It is really a pain to design a whole set of webpages such that it will look the same on every browser. Anyone who has done any serious web-designing will know that. So, we took the easy way out. We have made our pages Microsoft Internet Explorer specific, since anyone with any flavor of Microsoft Windows installed on their computer has Explorer pre-installed. Though it may manage to run on most browsers, the contents of this CD may not be displayed properly on most other browsers.

For those of you who do not have Explorer installed, or have a older version of Explorer installed we have included the setup for Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 5.5).

Then there is the problem with the screen resolution. Though this CD can be run on any computer with any resolution, a resolution of 640 X 480 will make you use the scrollbars way too often. It is highly recommended that you set your screen resolution to 800 X 600 or higher.

If you have everything in place, you can now enter Mnemosyne - the annual MIT CD-ROM (2000 - 2001).
