As the light of knowledge started to eat into shadows of darkness of ignorance the renaissance was born. That was in the seventeenth century. Late in the twentieth century, was felt the need for another Renaissance. In 1994, a group of students, gathered under the active guidance of Mr. Raj Rodrigues to start an organization where in students could meet.. It was basically planned as a forum for interaction among all the member students. What made this society singularly unique was that it was totally managed by the students. for the students from the funds to the sessions, it was all in the family. Thus came into being the Society for Personality Development. To dispel the misconceptions about the self, perk up confidence levels, reinforce the self-belief and more importantly open out to the world. Consequently, until recently, the main area of our activity addressed the orator in our members. Group Discussions, Public Speaking, Communication Skill Development. that was the USP.
